PRESERVING A PIECE OF BROOKVILLE HISTORY
A HOME WORTH SAVING
Built in 1898 for Dr. Verlando Z. Miller, this Queen Anne Victorian has been part of Brookville's architectural landscape for more than 125 years.
After a devastating fire in 2010 and the threat of demolition in 2016, Rick and Sheri Peters recognized the home's historic significance and committed themselves to preserving it.
What followed was a remarkable restoration effort. Working closely with Sheri, Joshua Florkey and the Florkey Custom Builds team carefully repaired, rebuilt, and restored the home, honoring its original character while preparing it for a new chapter.
Today, the Jefferson Street Historic Restoration stands as a testament to perseverance, thoughtful craftsmanship, and a shared commitment to preserving Brookville's history.
One historic home. A remarkable story. A future worth preserving.
